The brief

Munchies is an ice cream parlour known for bold flavours and colourful desserts — from bubblegum ice cream to cotton candy milkshakes. While the products were memorable, the branding wasn’t. The old identity felt inconsistent and didn’t reflect the fun, high-energy experience customers had in-store.

The goal was to create a brand that felt as playful and unexpected as the menu itself.

 

What We Did

We rebuilt the Munchies brand from the ground up, creating a visual identity that could work consistently across the shop, packaging, and social media.

At the centre of the rebrand was a new logo system inspired by the brand’s vibrant personality, along with “Muni” — a custom ice cream scoop alien character designed to give the brand a recognisable and ownable identity.

We extended the branding across every customer touchpoint, including:

Packaging and stickers

In-store visuals

Social media direction

Content styling

Printed collateral

The focus was to make Munchies instantly recognisable, highly shareable online, and visually memorable for customers visiting the store.

The Outcome

The new identity gave Munchies a stronger and more cohesive presence both online and offline. The brand now feels energetic, distinctive, and aligned with the experience customers actually have when they walk into the shop.

By combining bold visuals with a clear creative direction, Munchies transformed from a local ice cream parlour into a brand with personality, character, and long-term recognition.
